Who's that girl??

Can you believe it, thats me!
I think I was around 3 years old, in my bikini, standing on a stool, posing for the camera! LOL!
Aren't I the cutest thing? I don't know what happened to that cuteness!
Sigh~ Sienna must of took it all away from me!

Anyway, that was me in Hawaii, a long time ago. We lived just a short walk away from the beach. It was my parent's first house. They still live in Waialua, but in another home, not so close to the beach.
But, My dad still goes spear fishing, as much as ever.
It was nice to grow up with the ocean being your playground. I do miss it sometimes.

So, the month is almost over, meaning projects are due. Panic and stress starts all over. Hopefully I will catch up one day.

Thanks for stopping by!

It's almost summer!!

The weather has been very summery these past few days, with the temp. being close to 90 degrees yesterday! It is surely looking like summer, and in a few weeks, school is out and it's summer vacation!

Been a busy bee working on projects and trying not to overexhurt myself. Here are a few things that I have been working on.

Happy (Belated) National Scrapbook Day!

Saturday was NSB Day. I celebrated by volunteering my day to the Gresham Craft Warehouse "Make A Memory" Dept. I taught a Make & Take Ribbon flower project. Below are some examples of the flowers I made. The customers had the choice of making a pin (simply by adding a self-adhesive backed craft pin) or taking it as it is and using it as an embellishment for a scrapbook page.

This is a LO of our cat Kona. She is looking out into out backyard. Both are cats are indoor only cats, so they enjoy sitting at the glass door for hours, watching the birds and squirrels.
I made this LO (as well as the 'Got Fish' LO below) with the 2 Jill May kit. I am their Guest designer this month.

Call me crazy, but I tried out for 4 more DTs! I couldn't help by submit my applications. I have already heard from one~ which I didn't make. They only choose two people~ who turned out to be long time message board users. (Which makes me think that some of these calls are just a formality to keep it "legal"~ like hiring someone who is already in the company, for another position...you still have to advertise the job and take in applications~ but you already know who you are hiring.) That is just my opinion~ the LOSER opinion! LOL!

Well, taking the last of my Lunestra (sleeping pills). Hoping to be able to sleep without them. I think I am probably addicted to them now.

I may have to start using Valerian (herbal remedy). I just hate the taste of that stuff! Yuck! If not, I won't be sleeping, but I may be getting alot more scrapping done! :)

Thanks for stopping by!
And have a great week!

BTW~ I updated my Layout slideshow! Check out my latest projects!

Oh, and if I don't see you before then...Have a Great Mother's Day!

another crazy monday

I've been a busy beaver, trying to finish up design team projects for 3 companies. I still have a few more projects to do...and just got 2 more boxes of stuff for the upcoming month! It seems like when I think I am just finishing up, it starts all over again, and I am playing catch up. Well, at least it is keeping me busy.
This Saturday is National Scrapbook Day! I have been asked to make an appearance at the Gresham's Craft Warehouse, and teach a Make & Take Class/Demonstration. SHould be fun.

We went to the Crystal Spring Rhododendron Garden this past Sunday. The weather was warm and beautiful!
Sienna had the best time feeding all the ducks and geese.
We even got to see quite a few baby ducklings and goslings!
It's a great place to stroll around, with all the different rhodes and azaleas blooming, as well as the many water features.

Well, thanks for stopping by...hope you have a great week!
